High Wycombe ICD Support Group
This group offers a support network to those who have received or are expecting to receive an ICD and to their families and carers. Its objectives include:
- Providing support by telephone or other means to those who seek it
- Arranging informal meetings - some with speakers - for friendship and discussion and the sharing of experiences and concerns
- Drawing attention to publications or other material and dealing with questions raised within the Group
- Working in liaison with hospital and community cardiac care professionals, other ICD Groups and with the Arrhythmia Alliance
