	World-class Commissioning System launched - PCTs to measure health outcomes A world-class commissioning assurance system, which will measure PCT performance in three key areas, health outcomes, competencies, and governance, has been launched this week by the Department of Health and the NHS. .

	AAAW 08 success! Thank you to all who supported Arrhythmia Awareness Week 2008 by raising awareness of arrhythmia and sudden cardiac death. A record number of activities took place worldwide including awareness displays, pulse checks, clinical & patient group meetings, Parliamentary receptions and fundraising events.
