	Arrhythmia Awareness Week – The Countdown Begins! The fifth annual Arrhythmia Awareness Week starts in June (9th-15th). See how you can raise awareness of arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death and support this week-long national campaign.
	Heart Rhythm Congress launches new website 19th to 22nd October 2008. HRC is delighted to announce details of the 2008 Programme on its new website. Information on the exhibition, abstract submission, the venue, accommodation and much more is also now available on the website.

	Become a member of the Heart Rhythm A-A Message Board When you’re dealing with an unfamiliar medical condition, life can, at times, be difficult and unsettled. The board provides a perfect forum for you to connect with other sufferers or carers who are going through similar ups and downs, to share advice and support, and importantly, to offer reassurance. 	Atrial Fibrillation Association (AFA) Web Site Now on-line for patients and medical professionals. Offering downloadable materials, access to the AFA moderated Forum, a Medical Professionals area, weekly updated AF news from around the world and membership to the AFA.
	AF Medical Database Since the launch of AFA in late 2007 many queries have been received from patients, a large number of these are requesting further information about AF and how they might get access to specialist treatment. As a result of this the Trustees of AFA are keen to develop a database of physicians with an interest in managing AF so that patients may obtain access to care locally. To this end if you are willing to have you professional contact details included in this database we would be grateful if you could provide them to us.
	The Atrial Fibrillation Association in conjunction with Europe AF - first AFA Patient Day. The London Hilton Metropole Hotel, Sunday 15th June 2008 at, 11am – 4pm. With guest speakers including AF patients, arrhythmia nurses and electrophysiologists the day promises informative. 	International Atrial Fibrillation Registry The European Association for Cardiothoracic Surgery (EACTS) has recently launched the International Atrial Fibrillation Registry (IAFR), with the intention of registering data and report patient outcomes following surgical treatment of AF.
