The Arrhythmia Alliance are pleased to announce proposals for six English
Regional meetings to consider developments that have taken place since the
launch of the CHD NSF for Arrhythmias and Sudden Cardiac Death and to recognise
and celebrate good practice. These
meetings are being supported by the Department of Health Heart Team and the
Heart Improvement Programme.

Arrhythmia Alliance new look web
site - The Arrhythmia Alliance has launched its newly re-designed web
site. Many pages are yet to be developed
so they would welcome feedback and suggestions.
They are also pleased to promote events and meetings and provide links
where appropriate. A-A patient booklets
are also available to download as well as presentations from Regional Meetings
and regular updates and presentations from the Heart Team at the Department of
Health on Chapter 8.
National Library for Stroke
The Cardiovascular Diseases
Specialist Library (CVDSL) team have been asked to take the lead in developing
a new National Library for Stroke. This initiative reflects the growing
political priority being given - rightly - to stroke, the
A Reference Group of key stakeholders
from the world of stroke will be consulted in the development of this national
knowledge resource, and we will be hosting the inaugural meeting of this group
in late March. Please see the stroke
zone on the CVDSL for further information.
